I just testing this site using IE 8, which was officially released last night. I didn't encounter any issues using the latest browser from Microsoft. I still think that Firefox is the better browser to use on this site and will continue to build the site around FireFox and Google Chrome.

I am in the process of updating the Website look and feel. I hope to have the complete websites transfered in the next couple of days. The Daily Blog and Gulf War pages are the first sections to be converted. The goal of the new look and feel is a more professional looking website and maintain a constant look and feel. Hope you like it!

One of the things that I found with this Blog is that it isn't getting a lot of traffic that I hoped for. The daily PDF updates did attract an audience but it was a lot of work to get things up on the site. I did build some pretty cool technology to get the PDF on the site, perhaps there's something that I can leverage for future projects. I'll be updating this blog on a regular bases, trying to find content that my fan club would like to read. In the meantime I'll swing over to Seth Godin and Tom Peters to see what advice they have on providing good blog content.

When testing some software functionality, I found it very useful to do randomize testing. That is...don't just perform repeat testing don't just do the same thing over and over again.. I created a Random Press Release generator which comes in handy testing applications and for demonstrating an application. I created the application out of a need to show random press releases in a press release listing. Seeing the same press release over and over again makes it hard to show the functionality of the software. If you do any software testing it might be handy to use the Random Press Release Generator. You never know what bugs might be found in your application.
