iPhone 6s Plus Capacity

Should you buy the 16GN iPhone 6s Plus?

The very first thing I did when I got my iPhone 6s Plus was to find how much disk capacity that it comes with right out of the box. It turns out in the latest OS, that it needs 4.7 GB of space. My particular phone had 55.4 GB and had available 50.7.

This is very important to know if your considering getting the 16 GB iPhone 6s Plus. Basically you only get ~12 GB free. Which at one time would be considered a lot of space. However, with all the new technology and functionality that the iPhone 6s Plus comes with, 12 GB isn?t enough.

Even as Apple continues to push the cloud, there are plenty times when you will need plenty of phone capacity. You may need the space for various applications from the iOS store. You may need to take videos or photos when you least expect it.

In addition, you could have this phone for the next two years. Who knows what your needs will be in the next 24 months? As digital videos and photos continue to grow leaps and bounds with Facebook and Twitter, you may want to contribute more.

If your looking at getting the iPhone 6s Plus I would highly recommend getting the 64 GB version. I was plenty enough for a recent Disney World trip where I took a lot of videos and pictures during the week. I was able to backup the files overnight, but didn?t remove anything the entire trip. When I got home, I sync up to my home computer and backup all my files.

I think the only people that would get the 128 GB iPhone 6s Plus are people that need to carry around lots of commercial movies and music with them wherever they go. Probably good if your doing a lot of traveling and want the ability to access your media when your off line.
