If you just switched to Hulu, one of the channels that you'll notice that is not available is the Hallmark Channel. Normally this isn't a big deal, but at Christmas people like to watch their holiday shows.
Unfortunately you can't watch Hallmark unless you have a subscription via a cable network.
We wanted something cheap since Hulu meets all of our TV viewing needs. We also didn't want a long-term commitment since we'll likely unsubscribe after the new year.
The Hallmark Movies Now subscription service, which is available for $5.99 a month or $59.99 annually, is not a good option for us. They don't show this Christmas seasons movies.
If you want on demand from last year it would be fine - but chances are people you know will be talking about this season shows.
These are the cost that you would need to get the full Hallmark Experience. (On Playstation Vue you can just get the basic Hallmark Channel for $44.99/month.)
|Philo||43 Channels||$16/mo||7-day free trial|
|fuboTV||85+ Channels||$39.99/Month||7-day free trial|
|Sling||43 Channels||$30/Month||7-day free trial|
|Playstation Vue||85 Channels||$59.99||7-day free trial|
|DirectTV Now||65+ LIVE Channels||$40/MONTH||7-day free trial|
After exploring all the options we went with Philo. For $16 a month you get 43 channels including Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
There is a lot of overlap of channels with Hulu, but this was the cheapest option to watch Hallmark via OnDemand.
Maybe in 2019 there will be more options to watch Hallmark Channel - including YouTube TV.
