For the 2 people who served with the 428th MEDSOM, I hope you check back to this site sometime and see this post. We are few and far between it would seem. I was deployed from WBAMC in El Paso, TX, and attached to the 428th from Feb. to May of 1991. Although I fully supported the mission we did, I am now one of the ones battling illness and fighting the system and helping other veterans battle the system by being an advocate with the VFW. I would just like to say thanks to all the men and women who have fought,are fighting, and will fight for us! A very special thanks to a very good friend of mine who was there and knows first hand the pain that many still live with til this day! And a rememberence to a dear friend of his-James H. Lumpkins. Will Thiery you are a great man and we will always be reminded of what you and many others have done for us!

I was stationed with the 428th MEDSOM between the borders of Iraq and Kuwait. Deployed there December 12, 1990 and Re-deployed back to Germany May 10 1991. Now I'm retired from the Military but I'm glad that I was part of this operation to liberate the people from Kuwait. Very good web site.

Excellent site. Loved the clean video of Joe Namath, and absolutely loved re-living the Pats-Raiders Snow Bowl audio, I had never heard ESPN's audio, was watching the game and listening to Gil Santos and Gino Capeletti on the Patriots Radio Network. Where in New England are you? I'm in CT.
