![]() The 2009 summer season has started, time to put the winter jacket away and enjoy the nice weather. Overall the winter weather in New England wasn't that bad. If your in New England, no summer is complete without a visit to Cape Cod. One of the best beaches on the Cape is Nauset Beach in Orleans. This is a beautiful beach that's easy to get to and offers plenty of parking. One of the nice things about Nauset is that there's a restaurant right on the beach! You can walk right up and get anything you want at reasonable prices. Even ice cold ice cream on a hot day! Visit Laims at Nauset Beach this summer and try their Fried Clams with their World Famous Onion Rings! A Cape Cod Tradition and a local favorite!

![]() A year ago an email was going around about the Ski place being built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The email was all about why we are paying $3.25 a gallon. Pretty cheap when you consider Waltham Massachusetts just hit a record $4.06 a gallon on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. I saw the Ski Place being built on the Discovery Channel last year, they filmed the complete project. There were several challenges that the engineers had to face and it was pretty close to not happening because of these challenges. If you haven't seen some of the photos, you can download the original email that was sent out.

![]() In 1994, I visited Disneyland on a trip to visit my parents in California. This wasn't a great trip since it rained the whole time we were in the park and many rides were closed. The cast members did a great job in making sure people had lots of fun in the park. There weren't many people in the park on that day. You can now download a park map of Disneyland from 1994. Disney fans will see that not much that has changed over the past 14 year. You can see that 2000 League Under the Sea and the Skyway tram is still working. Today Disneyland is a whole different experience with California Adventure and Downtown Disney. You'll be spending more time in the parks than just 14 years ago.

![]() Who is Norman Elms? Sorry but I really don't know. When I was cleaning out my stuff in the basement I came across this document that someone fax to me when I was working at Delphi Internet. I don't recall why I received it. Was it was really worth saving for more than 10 years? I searched all over the Internet and can't find the person described in this article from the Midessa Monitor. There's nothing about Norman Elms any place online. This just goes to show that if your going to save something, you should take action on it immediately. If something is worth keeping at least put a little post-it note on why its worth saving.

![]() Johnny Most was a radio broadcaster for the Boston Celtics from 1953-1990. He is remembered for his raspy voice and for getting emotional with the game. It was a total different game when Johnny Most made the call. In 1987, Johnny Most and Glenn Ordway launched a promotion called "Dream Game." This was a special audio cassette that made you the hero of a Celtic game. The "Dream Game" is a five-minute radio broadcast that has you making the winning shot during a Celtic/Laker game. This was a very creative gift for any Boston Celtic fan. I was very fortunate that my parents got me a "Dream Game" for my high school graduation, if you have Real Audio you can listen to the broadcast that was made for me. Also visit the Real Audio gallery to see all the other Real Audio clips that I made available. You can also download the "DREAM GAME" brochure.
