URL Rewriting is a very cool functionality that every webmaster should learn how to do. There's some really cool trickery that webmasters can do to make their website more productive and functional to the end users and developers.
Apache set the standards in URL Rewriting functionality. There's plenty of plug-in tools for IIS and other Webservers. However, Apache set the standard, and its very helpful to learn to use Apache's tool.

Last year we went to St Maarten and enjoyed lots of great meals at some of the local restaurants. One of the restaurants is the Soprano's Piano Bar and Restaurants located near the airport in Philipsburg.
This was a great restaurant, we enjoyed a true Italian meal and enjoyed the Soprano atmosphere. The meal was a little expensive, but we thought it was worth it and we plan to go back again.
Download the Soprano's Piano Bar menu and see what on the menu at a real Soprano's restaurant.

In the early 1980's the Beatrice Foods Company was a major American food processing company. They held famous brands such as Tropicana, Altoids, Orville Redenbacher, and Dannon Yogurt.
In order to educate the consumer market on all the various products that they sell, they put together a Treasure Map poster and put it in with all the other newspaper supplements. Beatrice include a $100,000 prize so people would play along. Its very creative marketing.

There's nothing like a really good BBQ, and there's no question the best BBQ is the one that you make on your own grill. It always taste better at home.
In Newtonville, Massachusetts, there's a restaurant that makes really good BBQ that's really good. They have a great selection in sauce and the Spare Ribs are perfect, yes the meat really does falls off the bone! There isn't much seating, so I would recommend planning on taking the food home.

The last the the economy was this bad was back in 2003. In Massachusetts there were a lot of high tech workers looking for work. The Boston Globe got creative and decided to hold a career fair at Fenway Park on September 10, 2003.
I attended the career fair and thought it was a waist of time. There were hundreds of people applying for the same job. Clearly it was an employer's market. I decided to use the time to see how other people were doing in interviews and what skills were in the market.
Find out what companies were at the Career Fair that weekend. I wonder how many jobs were filled that day.

There's two places that come to mind when thinking of amusement parks and LA, Disneyland and Universal Studios. Both are excellent amusement parks and are well worth visiting over and over again.
There's another fun theme park to visit and that Knotts Berry Farm, otherwise known as KBF. There's lots of fun things to do at KBF, from all the great rides, fun amusement games, exciting shopping and wonderful food.
In October the park is transformed to Knott's Scary Farm and its the place to be if you like Haunted Houses. This event happens every night after the park closes and is for adults only. Its so popular, that tickets sells out on weekends and some weeknights!
The other thing I really like about KBF is the food. From the Turkey Legs to Fried dough, there's lots of good food to enjoy in the park. My personal favorite is the Fried Chicken at the Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant just outside the park. What a great way to end the day!
If your looking for another place to visit when in the LA area, you should seriously try Knotts Berry Farm. Download this KBF PDF to show you all the great things you can find at Knotts Berry Farm.

Last December I stayed at Fairfield Inn in New Jersey on a business trip and wanted the company pay for my stay. I didn't want to put my stay on my Credit Card and have to reimbursed the expense of the stay. The person at the desk wanted my company to fill in a Credit form so they could be allowed to charge expenses on the company credit card.
I was surprise that they had to fax the form to my company to have them fill it out and then have them fax it back to the hotel. This was an issue because I wasn't sure if the company fax machine was working. In the Internet age, it seems to me that someone in Accounting should be able to goto Fairfield Inn's website and just download the form.
Download the Fairfield Inn Credit Form PDF. While this form is specific to the Fairfield Inn that I stayed at, it should be good enough for any Fairfield Inn in the United States.

Over the past 10 years I have done a lot of traveling, from driving across the country to a nice trip to St. Maarten. One of the things that I found to be valuable is a good trip packing list. Because no matter how organized you think you are you always will forget something. How many times have you forgotten batteries, sun glasses or an umbrella?
In 2003, with the assistance of several websites, I put together a simple packing list of what to bring on a trip. I didn't want something large that would discourage me from using the list, I wanted something simple and very practical. The second page of the list is things to do before going on a trip, which is helpful in a good trip planning.
Download the Trip Planning PDF and be more prepared for you next trip.
