![]() In 1990 we took a trip to London and Switzerland. We visited several tourist sites in London including Westminster Abby. The funny thing was that we took a bus tour of London and got off at an unscheduled stop to see the Westminster Abby. The tour bus was driving by and describing the church but wasn't doing a scheduled stop, we got off the bus at the traffic light. I enjoyed the history of the church and all the beautiful artwork in the church. If your planning a trip to London, you should add Westminster Abby to your sites to see. You may have also heard the name Westminster Abby from Rodger Miller's song called "England Swings." You can now download the Westminster Abby brochure. Westminster Abby is a historical church located on St. Margaret Street in the heart of London - very close to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

In Northern California, some people were handing out single page brochures to get people to "learn the truth" about Al Gore. This didn't work as Al Gore easily carried California. I receive this brochure on my car at the Comp USA store on Blossom Hill Road. Here's one quote from the handout:

![]() When I was cleaning up this week, I came across a flyer that I got when I was in college in 1991. This flyer was promoting a march on the Washington Mall to encorage Peace in the Middle East. This particular flyer was distributed by the local Boston charter. Download it and see what peace activists were saying in 1991 and how much is still true today. Here's one quote from the flyer: BUSH CHOSE DOUBLE STANDARDS! The U.S. barely supported a decade of sanctions that finally forced the Government of South Africa to negotiate with the African African National Congress. It took nine years of economic sanctions to transform racist Rhodesia into Zimbabwe. The world looks in disbelief as U.S. allies in this war continue to occupy conquered territories: Israel in the West Bank, Gaza, and Southern Lebanon, Syria in Lebanon, Turkey in Cyprus, Morocco in the Spanish Sahara.
