Boston Commercial Real Estate

None

It wasn't that long ago where the Commercial Real Estate in the Boston area was the place to be. This snip from the Boston Business Journal shows how things have changed:

There is approximately 3,709,000 square feet of sublease space in the suburban market, and about 57 percent of it is considered Class A property. Of the available sublease space, 39 percent is in the Route 128 West submarket.

Along 128 in Waltham, construction is almost completed in several large office complexes. Between Trapelo Road and Route 117 commuters will see construction just about completed on three new office buildings. With the recession just about to end, it will be interesting to see how these new building fair out.

One thing that may worry those that drive by these buildings everyday, what will this mean for my commute? How many new cars will I have to deal with?
